Initial access to Storylines: Derek Jeter mode grants users exclusive rewards like player items, uniforms, and equipment. By completing missions within the mode, players will be able to unlock even more content as additional Jeter moments are added post-launch.

In addition to Jeter, the 20XX Negro Leagues celebration will highlight the accomplishments of Toni Stone, Hank Aaron, Josh Gibson, and Buck Leonard.

MLB The Show 24 goes beyond these exclusive single-player features with the continuation of last year's Storylines mode focusing on Negro League Baseball.

In addition to the Storylines content, this year's title brings several new stadiums and uniforms to enhance the gaming experience.

Physical Disc Exclusivity

An interesting detail to note is that PlayStation 5 users who opt for the Negro Leagues Edition won't receive a physical copy of the game. Instead, their steel book will contain a download code. Consequently, only Xbox Series X users can obtain the physical disc with the collector's edition.

Therefore, if you desire a disc for PlayStation 5, you'll need to order the standard game version, as all last-gen versions are digital-only this year.

MLB The Show 24 will be available to play on Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch starting March 19.

Buyers of MLB The Show 24: Negro Leagues Edition can secure early entry into the game starting March 15 for $124.99, as well as receiving unique in-game content and keepsakes.
